After a hand injury temporarily limited my ability to film, I switched to still photography, phone and compact camera shots, then animated them using AI motion tools. It was a test of whether I could still tell stories with video. The project proved I could.
The film documents Forêt B, Geneva's urban micro-forestry initiative, an approach to ecological restoration in dense urban spaces. This was my first professional use of AI video tools, Luma Labs' Dream Machine, as an Early Access Creator. For me, the principle was simple: the composition, framing and storytelling stayed entirely mine. AI bridged the gap between what I could envision and what my hand could execute at the time.
